We are hiring an Android Developer to build delightful, high-performance native Android applications at [Company Name]. Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop native Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack libraries
- Build reusable, testable UI components following Material Design guidelines
- Integrate REST APIs and manage local data storage with Room or SQLite
- Optimize app performance, battery usage, and memory footprint
- Write unit and instrumented tests using JUnit and Espresso
- Collaborate with iOS, backend, and design teams for consistent cross-platform experiences
- Publish and manage app releases on the Google Play Store
- Stay current with Android platform updates and best practices
Requirements & Qualifications
- 3+ years of native Android development experience
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin (Java is a plus)
- Experience with Android Jetpack (ViewModel, LiveData, Navigation, Room)
- Understanding of Android architecture patterns (MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture)
- Experience with RESTful API integration and network libraries (Retrofit, OkHttp)
