Job Overview
We are seeking a Cloud Architect to design and lead the implementation of cloud-native infrastructure at [Company Name]. You will own our cloud strategy, define architecture standards, and guide engineering teams to build highly available, secure, and cost-efficient systems on AWS, GCP, or Azure. This is a senior, strategic role.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and lead the overall cloud architecture strategy for the organization
- Design highly available, fault-tolerant, and secure cloud-native architectures
- Lead cloud migration initiatives from on-premises to cloud environments
- Establish cloud governance, cost management, and security policies
- Collaborate with engineering teams to review and approve infrastructure designs
- Evaluate and recommend cloud services, tools, and vendors
- Drive infrastructure-as-code adoption using Terraform, Pulumi, or CDK
- Mentor DevOps and platform engineers on cloud best practices
Requirements & Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure or architecture
- Deep expertise in AWS, GCP, or Azure (multi-cloud experience preferred)
- Proven experience designing large-scale, distributed systems
- Strong knowledge of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments
- AWS Solutions Architect Professional, GCP Professional, or Azure Solutions Architect certification
