Job Overview
We are looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer to protect [Company Name]'s systems, data, and infrastructure from evolving threats. You will design security controls, conduct threat modelling, perform vulnerability assessments, and lead incident response. You are proactive about security and translate complex threats into actionable defences.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement security controls across network, application, and cloud infrastructure
- Conduct penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and security audits
- Monitor SIEM for threats, respond to incidents, and perform forensic analysis
- Lead threat modelling sessions and security architecture reviews
- Implement and manage identity and access management (IAM) systems
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and runbooks
- Ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR
- Train development teams on secure coding practices (DevSecOps)
Requirements & Qualifications
- 4+ years of cybersecurity engineering or information security experience
- Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar, or Sentinel)
- Knowledge of penetration testing methodologies (OWASP, PTES)
- Familiarity with cloud security on AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Security certifications such as CISSP, CEH, OSCP, or equivalent
