Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Node.js Developer to design and build scalable backend services for [Company Name]. Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain high-performance Node.js backend services and REST APIs
- Design microservices and event-driven architectures
- Integrate with databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis
- Implement authentication, rate limiting, and security best practices
- Build real-time features using WebSockets or Server-Sent Events
- Write automated tests (unit, integration, E2E) for all backend services
- Optimize application performance through profiling and caching strategies
- Collaborate with frontend and DevOps teams on deployment and integration
Requirements & Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional Node.js development experience
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
- Experience with Express.js, Fastify, NestJS, or similar frameworks
- Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Understanding of asynchronous programming, event loops, and streams
