Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Manager to lead payroll operations at [Company Name]. You will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for all employees, maintain statutory compliance, and optimize payroll processes. This is a critical operations role that requires both technical payroll knowledge and strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing for all employees
  • Ensure accuracy in salary calculations, deductions, reimbursements, and bonuses
  • Handle statutory compliance: PF, ESI, TDS, professional tax, and gratuity
  • File timely payroll-related statutory returns and manage compliance documentation
  • Coordinate with finance for payroll reconciliation and GL posting
  • Manage payroll software (GreytHR, Keka, SAP, or similar) and HRMS integration
  • Handle full and final settlements for exiting employees
  • Stay current with payroll legislation, tax changes, and compliance requirements

Requirements & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of payroll processing experience in India
  • Strong knowledge of Indian payroll laws: PF, ESI, TDS, Shops & Establishment Act
  • Proficiency with payroll software (GreytHR, Keka, ADP, SAP HCM)
  • High accuracy and ability to manage large payroll volumes
  • Strong Excel / data skills for payroll reconciliation and reporting
