Job Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer to ensure the highest quality of our software products at [Company Name]. You will design test strategies, write automated tests, and work closely with developers to catch bugs before they reach production. You are the last line of defence for quality and you take that responsibility seriously.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive test strategies including unit, integration, and E2E testing
- Write and maintain automated test suites using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
- Perform manual, functional, regression, and exploratory testing
- Identify, document, and track bugs using JIRA or equivalent tools
- Collaborate with developers and product managers during sprint planning and reviews
- Define acceptance criteria and validate features against product requirements
- Set up and maintain test environments and CI integration for automated testing
- Report on test coverage, defect trends, and quality metrics
Requirements & Qualifications
- 2–5 years of software testing and QA experience
- Proficiency in test automation using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (STLC, SDLC)
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and agile development workflows
